High Road

This painting High Road was painted by Edward Hopper in 1931. The media use was watercolor on paper. This painting has the elements color and value. The color is used to create value in a chiaroscuro way because it alight and dark colors to add an illusion of depth and volume when its on a 2 dimensional surface. The value can also be the perspective(one-point perspective) that this painting has.
