The Last Supper



This is Leonardo da Vinci's most famous painting "The Last Supper". It was done on dry plaster between 1496-1498. There is very little of this original left as it has not taken well to the test of time. I like how Da Vinci used a lot of lighting and shading in this painting, it reminded me of how we are going from light to dark in class. The painting itself represents Jesus' last meal with his disciples before he was captured and put to death
